Eric is a high-level business consultant with real-world business experience. He also provides executive coaching and consultation services and facilitates adventure retreats and extreme leadership programs

Eric’s first major entrepreneurial venture was in the Information Technology sector when he founded The ITR Group, a leading supplier, integrator and maintainer of wireless networking and data capture technologies.

Eric co-founded the company in his living room with only a few thousand dollars and soon transformed the company into an industry leader with multiple offices around the UK and clients all over the world.

Eric ran ITR for 9 years as the company’s Managing Director and then, in 2006, he sold the company to private buyers and retired from the IT sector.

For three years following the sale of ITR, Eric travelled the world as an international speaker and business consultant. From 2006 until 2009 Eric visited and spoke in over 15 countries throughout Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas.

He also took on philanthropic projects including the establishment of schools in East Africa and doing first-hand relief work in Jogjakarta after the massive earthquake of 2004.

In early 2009 Eric was introduced to Kerner Optical in his capacity as a business consultant. Kerner Optical, formerly part of Lucasfilm, was originally Industrial, Light and Magic and was known both internally and to the industry as ‘the model shop.’

Three years after leaving Lucasfilm, Kerner Optical was in need of capital, entrepreneurial guidance and restructuring. In mid-2009, Eric invested in and joined the company with a view to turning the company around.

In mid-2011, and having started two new Kerner-branded companies -- Kernerworks and Kerner 3D Technologies -- Eric closed the movie studio down.

Eric is primarily based in San Rafael, California but splits his time, along with his long-time partner Elise, between California and their home in Turks and Caicos.
